Chapter: 1 of the Prequel to my Pandemic Memoir Letter from a St. Louis MO Jail January 15, 2024 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day in America  I can think of no better way than to TRY and convey to you, dear friends, that the struggle MLK faced is as omnipresent as it ever was - than to share this with you today, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day in America.  We have black men DYING in the City jail and the City’s response is to: DO NOTHING.  Will it change your mind, like it did with Chad Morris, to read how they ALMOST also murdered me - a (once) pretty white girl at CJC, too? But for the grace of God go I, is all I can tell you, dear friends.   On Saturday I told you about how that City and their jail murdered a beautiful black woman named Earnestine in April 2020.  Today, I want to tell you PART OF THE STORY of how they ALMOST murdered me inside that jail, too.  I do so that you will HOPEFULLY realize that that City has been On Notice as to HOW and WHY people are dying in that jail
